I was blessed with great skin, very even, not too dry or oily everywhere else but my chin and the sides of my nose.
I don't wear any face makeup (base, foundation, etc.), never have, and I don't really use any harsh cleansers or anything since I've always had good skin through my teen years and now in my 20's. I never even really had pimples (except for once a month occasionaly, girls you know).
But lately having an oily chin is driving me crazy, especially since I talk on the phone a lot (office manager) so it makes it even worse.
How can I fix this without messing up (drying out) the rest of my good skin on my face?
P.S. I do NOT like any harsh or heavy creams/ products on my face, so hopefully there's something a bit milder.
What would you recommend to do for an oily chin and a little oil around the nose?
Get blotting papers! you can find them just about anywhere from Walgreen's, CVS or Rite Aid (depending on where you live) to Sephora, or Avon, or Mark. Blotting papers use skin safe powder and/or rice paper or an oil absorbing paper to pull the oil away from the skin and reduce shine. They don't put anything on or in the skin and you can use them at any time. They can cost between $4 and $15 for a packet of them and you can use them as often as you fee the need to. My recommendation would be 2-3 times daily max. While on the phone, keep the receiver away from your chin as this could appear to add to the oil problem and compile with dirt and bacteria and actually cause break-outs later on.
Good luck!
Reply:i would reccommend a avon face product =)
Reply:Use a regular face wash and use toner on the oily spots after each washing. You can also get blotting papers and blot at the oil throughout the day.
Reply:Try getting oil-blotting sheets. Various people make them...I usually just buy clean and clear. You can keep them in your purse or desk drawer and just wipe the oil right off.
As for talking on the phone a lot and that affecting your skin...maybe try a headset! :)
Reply:I love Bare Minerals powder. It's light, fine, %26amp; lasts a long time. Plus, it's natural %26amp; not heavy or harsh in the least. Touching just a bit of powder to your oily areas with a poofy brush (Target, $3.99) will help immensly. Good luck!
Reply:definitely try the epicuren products- they are AMAZING!!!
