Lonely guy with nothing to do after work meets a girl reading a book in coffee shop who gives him her phone number. Guy calls girl who invites him to her place. He takes her up on her offer and goes over. Guy thinks girl has a disfiguring skin disease when he finds a tube of ointment in her purse for 2nd degree burns and sees pictures in a medical textbook of disfiguring skin diseases. Guy high tails it out of there and just wants to go home. Long story short, due to a series of comic and tragic events (read dark comedy) he is thwarted, repeatedly, by one kook after another in his efforts to get home. By the time he gets home, it's time to go to work. What is the name of this movie?
