Dry skin and acne.?

the acne is healing because ive been useing acne free on it but black heads on my nose are driving me crazy. I put on hot hot rags, exfoliate and squeeze but nothing works. My skin is also extremely dry now from the acne meds and cold winter air, i want a moisturizer that will help my face but not clog my pores. Does ponds work? im so afraid it will make my breakouts worse. Ive tried vaseline moisturizer on my face but i did nothing, still flaky and gross, it looks HORRIBLE when i put on makeup to try to hide it. Please dont suggest proactive, i cant find it anywhere and i dont have a credit card to order in online or over the phone. Thanks%26lt;3

acne free is better than proactiv. proactiv just made mine worse through 3 weeks, 2/day uses.





start phasing out acne free and use washes. Clearasil Ultra is REALLY good. to get those deep down pores.
Reply:I am super acne prone, and I have used three types recommended by dermatologists...these won't make you break out. Don't use Ponds! Neutrogena oil free moisturizer, Moisturel, or Johnson %26amp; Johnson oil free face moisturizer. These 3 are non-comedogenic and I love them!





Also, don't squeeze! That will make things worse.
Reply:I use acne free too! And yes it dries my skin out. When I try using some lotions it would just make me break out again. But I recently started using this one lotion that really helps and doesn't irritate the skin on my face. It's called Curel Ultra Healing intensive moisutre lotion for extra-dry skin.

Reply:This should help. Rub oatmeal paste on face,leave it to dry for 15 minutes before washing off with cold water. Beat white part of an egg. Add one teaspoon of honey and with a cotton swab, apply it on face. Keep it around half an hour and then rinse with warm water. This is also good for blackheads and dark spots.
