Can I sue the police for neglegance, and making my life very difficult cause of there decisions?

I know this is going to sound fake but there is Hosptital and police records documented.





Well I will tell you the story from door close to door open 3 hours of pure torchure in a storage unit over 50$ and some baseball cards.





Well I didnt have the money or the cards to give them so 3 people straight criminal types locked me into storage unit, First the tall white boy w/bug eyes took out my knee cap w/a extending asp he hit me so hard it bent the asp and it wouldnt close,then after hitting me w a gun barrel in face they made me take off my shoes and socks and pick my teeth or one of my feet to hit w/a hammer I chose my right foot, The dark skinned man broke my foot w/a finish hammer right in the middle of my foot, then white boys girl frind and the dark skinned guy played head knees feet game where she would pick #s and whatever # he was thinking he would stomp and smash my foot into ground hit me w/gun barrel in face , or repeat hitting me w /asp in knee, finally dark skin tried to choke me out across back of a couch in unit and took torch lighters to my hands, the last thing was the 4cell maglight to the back of my head it sprayed blood all over them and the girl got scared and made me and dark skin leave, so he bound me up w tele wire and we got into my car, me passenger thank god the car was out of gas and he was so frustrated he broke my universal ignition and we got stuck at am/pm gas station cause i told him i didnt know the wiring codes, finally I said fuc_k you and started walkin to my friends down street, I called police cause they still had my car,the police found my car at storage units but it was dark an rainy and i was 100 yards away tryin to id one of them And I couldnt but it was him i gave his abbv first name and they said sorry you couldnt id him at first so he the only one here so if you want your car go get it its right there so now I got one guy who burned me w/torches not goin to jail and on the phone to the other guys tellin them I went to the police And the police left me hangin no arrests, no protection, nothin I was the scariest days of my life I couldnt even go home they said if Im at home my family will suffor to I got to many lil siblings for that, That was the everett police department 1 year ago or so i wish i could sue or something all the people involved are doin 25yrs for other crimes but its besides the point i spent 4 monthes hidin w/ no police help. I was supposed to be killed so i couldnt be a wittness but they got caught for other stuff lucky me NOT WoW Ive never told anyone other then police this do i have any rights at all????????????

You have a certain time limit or statue of limitations. Write to internal affairs. You can file a complaint against the police dept or officers which ever you want. They will investigate your story and then they will go from there. If you want more action call 7 on your side news they would take the story immediatly. Good luck..Go get them they deserve it more than the guys that hurt you. Police are corrupt about 89%. I feel the people that hurt you should be charged as well, My deepest sympothy to u I hope you are getting better.That is horrific and am appaulled at our justice system.

Reply:YES YOU CAN BUT DONT TRY TO DO THIS ALONE GET YOU A GOOD LAWYER FROM ANOTHER STATE AND SHOW HIM ALL TGHE EVIDENCE THAT YOU HAVE TO PROVE YOUR CASE AND HE SHOULD KNOW WHERE TO GO FROM THERE.

Reply:You should have done the right thing then instead of waiting a year later to say something. You may be able to add charges to them if you ID them this time and go to court for it. Get a lawer and go to the police station and file the report you should have done then and see if anything can be done. You still have 4 years left to do this..after that your screwed. You have the right to go and file the report and get a lawer for the case. Do it or lose it.

Reply:first of all do the cops have enough evidence to act? did they see your injuries? can you give them good IDs on the perps? what did you tell the people at the hospital when they asked what happened to you? your story sound a bit far out. 3 hours of torture over $50. you claim to have been struck severly on the knee and foot with impact weapons, been pistol whipped, struck on the head with a heavy flashlight, burned with a torch, and strangled. after all that they let you say f**k it and walk away to your friends. how were you able to walk with your injuries? if i was the cop on the scene i doubt i would have done much either. arrests require a certain amount of evidence and so far i do not see it.
Reply:Yes you have rights and alot of them. But first do you have a criminal history? not that it matters to me but it will matter to them the police. first did you have any pics taken of yourself, do you have a witness besides the police and the perps. You need to start to collect all the statement's if any and make a paper trail document everything. Find a lawyer knock on doors possible till one will listen to you. You need to understand that you are not only trying to sue the police but the state which can be done but is extremely hard, you also need to watch who you tell and what you say there are some attorneys out there and if you look on the Internet there is a Prepaid legal service That also can help you, I just hired them to help me I am also trying to sue a school on a federal charge almost impossible but it can be done I am going to see my 5th lawyer today and will continue until I find one. It gets frustrating and hard and sometimes you want to stand out in the street and scream but in the end it just may be worth alot more than you realize Good Luck to you
