Does he like me or my skin?

This goes to the white guys out there....I am a black woman but there are a lot of white people darker than me! I am very fair skinned with green eyes. My guy friend is white and I like him a lot. We talk a lot and sometimes we even talk for an hour or more on the phone. We have shared kisses and we even got in his hot tub together. My question is do you think he likes me and my charm or is he just comfortable with me because I could pass for white? I'm kind of scared to ask him first!!

Does he like me or my skin?
Honey, first off, not a white guy here. If you've found a man that you can talk to, I would snap him up really quick. If he was racist, I don't think he'd even be comfortable with the fact that you can 'pass for white'. Look at all the white-skinned people out there (many Jews, for example) who are still hated. It's not about the colour in their case, but about who and what they are. No, I am not racist against Jews - one of my best friends is Jewish.

I would say that you don't have to worry about it, but you should ask him anyways. Honesty is always the best policy, and it's very important when a relationship is just beginning to bloom. I know of guys who are very attracted to the kind of exotic looks that you have described. It's certainly not common for a black woman to have green eyes.
Reply:Warn him any kids to be throwbacks . Also just because he is with you does not mean it is serious........
Reply:Does that matter? If you like him and he likes you, what difference does it make?
Reply:I think you are probably just sexy as hell and it doesn't matter to him in the least.
Reply:Yes, white people use black people for their skin.
Reply:ask him what does he like about you. also ask what characteristics attracts him to you.
Reply:You are so full of it. Get off your high horse and get a life.
Reply:Sounds like you are more concerned about it than he is. As a black guy who could( if i wanted) pass for white with a good tan I don't bring up my ethnicity unless others do. If I get on well with a woman why worry about the color of the wrapping as long as you enjoy the present inside.
Reply:i think he might like you but then again he could just be comfortable around you
Reply:He is attracted to you for you. He is having long conversations with you and some cuddling, it sounds like the start of a romance.

You were not clear, does he think you are white? At any rate, I think in this day and age it does not matter. He was first attracted by your beauty and then stayed for your heart.

You can tell him you are a black woman and that you were uncomfortable sharing this with him. The romance is young, tell him now if this bothers you.

Good luck.
Reply:This will sound crayz, but maybe he just likes you for you! Maybe YOU are the one with a complex or something about your skin color. Maybe you feel more comfortable with him because youre fair skinned like him. In actuality, white people in general care less about our skin color then blacks do themselves. You know thats true. Black americans have a history of having a color complex. Im black, not dark and not light. And I've ran into Mexicans, Filipinos, Indians, etc my skin tone and darker. Whats your point. Does he make comments about skin color? If not, enjoy life!
