Dermatologists!!! or people who have been to a dermatologist!!! HELP!!?
1. A dermatologist will definitely be able to evaluate your problems and suggest a course of treatment that should help. It could be something as simple as recommending you change your skin care routine, or recommending what products you should use. Or it could be a lot more involved. But he or she will know what to do.

2. Yes, you just call and make an appointment for an evaluation. Usually, when you visit a specialist for the first time, that's what they do. They evaluate your problem, and then suggest a course of treatment. Simply tell the receptionist that you have some skin problems and you would like to make an appointment with the doctor. If they ask you pointed questions about your problems, be as clear and specific as you can. (Also, if you have insurance, make sure before you call for an appointment that the doctor is covered on your plan and also find out if you need a referral from your regular physician. This is important because few things stink like finding out your insurance won't cover your visit because you forgot a step in the process.)

3. Hmm, sounds like you have acne scars, enlarged pores, and small whiteheads. The uneven skin tone is probably not a dermatological problem, but he or she will know if it's a matter that needs to be dealt with.

4. I have no idea. It will depend on a variety of factors, including whether or not you have insurance, the severity of your problems, the recommended treatment, and other variables. If you are concerned about cost, ask about pricing when you first call to set up your appointment.

Best of luck to you.
Reply:hey ,

listen i've never been to ones office.

but my uncle and grandfather r dermatologists.

My uncle gave me all these creams and stuff, didnt work for me though.

My grandfather recommended this sulphur powder that u put on ur skin everyday, hey it worked for me.

I know what you're going through, I wish you the best of luck.

I just wanted to tel you about this sulphur powder stuff, cause it dries out all ur pores, but it takes time--but effective--

but yeah, i'msure a dermatologist wil know what to do.

Good Luck!!

Reply:I am a beauty consultant I don't know if that is close to it but I would like to help you. If you want to learn more about your skin and what type of products to look for and why. this is a how your skin ages, why it ages how it get's damaged and how you can prevent and protect. have fun I've had. Before you spend all your money try learn about your skin first and try it for a month and if this don't work make an appointment

Reply:Yes, a dermatologist is able to help you with your problems. Call to make an appointment first. Most or in fact all dermatological clinics will require you to briefly tell them what your problem is. Just tell them briefly ( the problem you listed down here). You dont need to know the names of the skin conditions you have because that's your dermatologist's job. Just explain what the problems are and your dermatologist will handle the rest. Ask your dermatologist to quote you a rough cost for treatment, medication or whatever at the end of the session and tell him/her that you will consider it. That way you can consider about the cost at your own pace and see if you can afford it.

Anyway, just to let you know that AHA/glycolic acid is very effective in clearing up scars.
